Statuary
Staturay is quarried in Italy in the highest areas of the Carrara mountains. It has an extensive history in the Roman Empire as one of the go to marbles for many of its intricate statues – It’s no mistake that its name is an extension from the word statue itself. Statuary, or Statuario as some come to call it, is typically a bright white material with darker veins. Light Statuary goes against the grain and trend of typical Statuary and instead demonstrates light veining with a pleasant movement.
